It’s all 90’s in the 2023 Halliday Wine Companion! Thanks to Tyson and his team at the Wine Companion for these results.
2020 Shiraz – 94 Points
“From 2 sources in Macclesfield and Echunga districts. Vinified separately and matured in a mix of new and seasoned French oak before the final blend was determined. The blueberry and blue floral notes to begin are vibrant and seductive, white pepper dusting the air. Fruit is sweet and smashable, with a line of sarsaparilla on the palate. There’s a lot to be joyful about in this wine.”

2021 Sauvignon Blanc – 92 Points
“Bristles with Adelaide Hills sauvignon blanc zesty swagger: kaffir lime leaf, grapefruit, nectarine and white peach with a splash of passionfruit. Energy to burn on the palate, with super-bright limey acidity and citrus zestiness. Hits the sauvignon spot.”

2021 Chardonnay – 92 Points
“Matured in new and seasoned French oak barrels. Less fruit forward and more a partnership of fruit and oak, producing a savoury-edged, textural chardonnay. Combines succulent Hills’ stone fruit, lime and citrus with nougat and almond meal. Preserved lemon savouriness on the finish is super tasty.”
