James Halliday released its top value wines under $35 and featured Silver Lining Chardonnay! The guide lists wines that “over-deliver in a range of delicious ways, offering excellent drinking for the season”.
Tony Love wrote, “From the Macclesfield district. This chardonnay is cast in a tight and linear style, clear and crisp with delicate opening lines that rise to burst with typical Hills white stone fruit and lemon-like acidity. After a short time in new and seasoned French barrels, there’s a faint background of lemon-zested cream biscuit. It’s delicious. Deceptively so. TL 13% alc”
